If you want to get noticed, you should join a few of the poetry clubs or poetry forums. Helps here and there to spread out your work.

Hope that helps some! After awhile you'll start to be noticed and many groups will let you submit your art & poetry to be read by the community of the group. Helps get you out there. Though I'm not exactly one to lecture on this topic since I have yet to do it in the 2 years on Da lol.
Main thing from what many have done is just comment a lot. The more page views you get the more likely someone will fav something. The search option on DA is a joke you can only go for 100 pages so if you don't show up in the first 100 pages you wont show up at all. That's why groups, number of page views you have, number of people who have faved your work and number of watchers you get are important.
Some people have been known to get published through Da. So its worth a shot.
